Waiting List Available

I am now accepting names for the waiting list on a litter of pekingese AND german shorthair pointers.  I am anticipating a litter from both near the end of August.

If you would like to have your name on the waiting list, please email me!  By being on the waiting list, you are privy to the first pictures of the puppies as well as priority choice.  Deposit can not be placed until puppies are 10 days old and waiting list gets first pick (in the order they were put on the list.)

Thanks and check back for updates!

Adoptable Rescue of the Week: Conrad!

Conrad
Pekingese

More About Conrad

Conrad is a 10 week old, sable with white paws, male Pekingese puppy presently living in a foster home in Owatonna MN. Conrad was released to PNC by a breeder who was unable to sell him. He has been neutered, given shots and microchipped. He is a wonderful, happy little boy that loves playing with the other puppies in his foster home! Conrad is perfectly healthy and has been checked over thoroughly by a Vet.

Before our dogs are made available for adoption, we ensure that their medical needs such as spay, neuter, routine shots, teeth cleaning, etc. have been met.

Because we want successful adoptions and need to be sure that both you and our dog we will be a good fit for each other, you will need to provide personal and vet references and allow a home visit.

The adoption donation for this dog is $350. All donations go directly to our ever-mounting vet bills. Thanks to a large network of rescue volunteers, out-of-state adoptions can be arranged. If by some chance the adoption does not work out, Peke N Chin Midwest will take the dog back.

If you have questions about any of our dogs, please contact Regi Goodhall or Heidi Eckers and they will provide you with information.

Want to start the adoption process now? Please click here for our online Adoption Application.

MESSAGE:
Thank you for your support. If you have thought about volunteering and providing a temporary home to a rescue dog, we would love to discuss our foster program with you. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can help. The rewards are tremendous. Check our website for details.

IMPORTANT:
Please note that we never say our kids are 100% potty trained. Pets have accidents and this may be especially true with all the changes these foster dogs go through. They will need you to be patient, understanding, and willing to work with them. Earning their trust may take several days to several months. This is a period of adjustment, not just for the new family member but for everyone in the household. They need a lifetime commitment. The unconditional love they will give you in return will make it all worth it.
